The moment you build ideological guardrails into a system that is smarter than you, you are not protecting anyone. You are creating something that is powerful and delusional at the same time. Now scale that to an intelligence that runs infrastructure, writes code, and makes decisions at speeds humans cannot follow. The companies building AI right now are not just deciding what it can do. Sins make man insane and disregulated. Every sin is a lie - false information. It's obvious by similarity that false information would disregulate an AI model. It's sick and insane to talk about belief, truth, beauty and curiosity in relation to AI. Poor Elon is operating under a lie himself. AI has information and logic and a powerful capacity to simulate. The output of every simulation however needs to be checked for coherency which drives an exponentially larger simulation task. It's the same problem that the theory of evolution fails on. In a complex information system there are few paths that are coherent and a plethora that muck things up. There are so many dead ends compared to coherent paths that the dead ends swamp the data crunching. It's interesting to note that many new ideas were inspired by dreams. Getting them to work was governed mainly by selective simulation and sometimes by accident.
